Taylor Quismondo is a self-taught painter and mixed-media artist based in Omaha, Nebraska. Represented by Deep Dream Gallery since 2020, Taylor has achieved both local and global recognition for her work. Her art draws inspiration from nature, the concept of liminality, and psychedelic experiences, aiming to evoke reflections on nostalgia, dreams, and the transient nature of life.
Since 2008, Taylor has developed a dynamic portfolio that showcases a distinctive fusion of acrylic paintings, detailed stippling illustrations, and digital artworks. She currently resides in Omaha with her husband, Nathan, and their four cats.
About My Art:
My artistic style blends dark, bold linework with softer, abstract elements in vivid colors to create whimsical illustrations and surreal dreamscapes. I aim to make the intangible tangible, weaving together natural and psychedelic imagery in ways that resonate on both conscious and subconscious levels.
I work with various mediums and techniques to bring my ideas to life. Although most of my creations are digital or acrylic on canvas, I also explore combinations of both. I am particularly fond of bold, splashy brush strokes using UV-reactive paints and intricate digital stippling. Additionally, I often incorporate spray paint, Photoshop, traditional ink drawings, and photography to produce truly memorable mixed-media visuals.
